LaSalle Motorsports M96 Modified Returns to Action This Weekend at Mohawk International Raceway With Danny O’Brien at the Controls

The 2014 regular season may be over, but the LaSalle Motorsports team owned Mike and Lori LaSalle are looking forward to some big events coming up. Danny O’Brien is back behind the wheel of the familiar M96 Modified this weekend at Mohawk International Raceway for the annual Mohawk Nationals Weekend with plans of racing on Friday night in the DIRTcar 358 Series as well as Saturday’s Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series race.

O’Brien has had some great success in a few starts in the LaSalle Motorsports ride this season, placing inside the top 10 at Brockville in the Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series race back in May. More recently, O’Brien powered the LaSalle Motorsports car to a third place finish and a win in the Frenchie’s “Chevy Runs Deep” Modified championship when they last visited Mohawk Raceway to close out the month of August.

For most of the 2014 season, the LaSalle Motorsports team concentrated their efforts on the Sportsman ride with Jeremy LaSalle behind the wheel. Jeremy finished the season in 8th place in points in the Sportsman division and fourth in the Ogilvie’s Auto Triple Crown Series. Jeremy had five top 5 finishes in 2014, including three straight in July. He also had 10 top ten results throughout the season.
