Jeremy LaSalle Scores Strong Third Place Result on Saturday Night at Brockville Speedway

After posting a top ten finish last week in the Ogilvie’s Triple Crown Series 40 lap main event at Brockville, Jeremy LaSalle and the LaSalle Motorsports team were back at Brockville Speedway this past week looking for even better results.

The night began with the usual qualifying heat races and LaSalle struggled to a fifth place finish. The 25 lap main event was up later in the evening, and after some adjustments to the car, LaSalle was ready for battle as he lined up from the 10th starting position. By halfway, LaSalle was able to work his way through traffic and was sitting in the 7th position. The first caution came out on lap 18 and at this point LaSalle was up one more position to sixth. Over the final seven laps, LaSalle’s car came to life and was up third place at the checkered flag.

“The car seemed to get better as the race progressed”, says LaSalle after the race. “It was a struggle early, especially in the qualifier but we worked on the set up after the heat race and it was much better”.

This coming weekend LaSalle will be back at Brockville Speedway looking for his first win of the 2014 season. He remains in the top 10 in track points despite missing a mid-week event earlier in the season due to work commitments.

  1. Even with these larger events, they can still have the feel of being quite intimate and informal, giving a chance for individuals to catch up with each other. You are curious to know more about racing, browse this site.
