Jeremy LaSalle Battles to a 6th Place Finish on Saturday Night at the BOS

After getting rained out at Brockville Speedway the previous week, Jeremy LaSalle and the LaSalle Motorsports team were looking forward to Saturday night’s event at Brockville Speedway. The team posted a solid top ten finish in their last race and were looking to build some momentum as the summer heats up.

Mike and Lori LaSalle spent a good portion of the day on Saturday with their M96 as they displayed the car at Home Hardware in Brockville on Saturday afternoon while the crew worked hard back at the shop getting Jeremy’s sportsman car ready for action Saturday night. LaSalle finished his qualifier in fifth place, and reported back to the LaSalle Motorsports crew for some adjustments before the 25 lap feature later in the evening. Jeremy stared the feature from the seventh position and held that spot through the opening laps before getting caught up in a wreck and having to restart from the rear of the field. By the halfway point, LaSalle had climbed back up to eighth, and would come on strong at the finish to record a sixth place result.

Jeremy LaSalle will be back at Brockville Speedway this Saturday night for another regular race program. The following week, LaSalle will return for the second of three races in the Ogilvie’s Triple Crown Series. Jeremy finished fourth in the opening round on May 10th.

Jeremy LaSalle and LaSalle Motorsports Sportsman Team Battle to a Top Ten Finish at Brockville after Three Weeks of Bad Luck

After opening the season with a solid top five finish last month, Jeremy LaSalle and the LaSalle Motorsports Sportsman team have had nothing but bad luck. They were hoping to turn that around this past week as they returned to Brockville Speedway on Saturday night.

Jeremy drove to a fifth place finish in his qualifying heat race, and reported to the pit area to make some adjustments to the car before the night’s 25 lap feature. He started the race from the inside of row four in the 7th starting spot, and maintained a top ten position throughout the race. He crossed the finish line with an 8th place result.

“The car was pretty good. We really needed a good run after the last few weeks”, says LaSalle after the race. “I have to thank my crew, Danny O’Brien and his crew, and John Mulder for all their work on the car during the week getting the car back together”.

This coming Saturday night, Jeremy will be back at Brockville Speedway looking for even better results.

LaSalle Motorsports Scores Strong Top Ten Finish in Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series Race at Brockville with Danny O’Brien

The LaSalle Motorsports M96 Modified had sat idle during the first few weeks of the season. This past week, the car returned to action as the LaSalle Motorsports team sought out the talents of Danny O’Brien to pilot their car for the 100 lap Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series race at Brockville last Wednesday night.

O’Brien qualified through the heat race, taking the fifth and final qualifying position, earning the 16th starting spot for the 100 lap main event. As the race hit the halfway mark, O’Brien had worked the LaSalle Motorsports ride into the top ten, and was up to eighth on a lap 79 restart. Danny finished the race in the eighth position.

“It was a great night at the track”, says car owner Mike LaSalle. “It was great working with Danny and his crew and they worked real well with our own LaSalle Motorsports team. It was a solid night, and we were the highest finishing small block. We are real happy with that”.

The M96 Modified will return to the shop, and Jeremy LaSalle’s Sportsman team will continue to be the team’s focus going forward. LaSalle had a rough night on Saturday, getting caught up in an early race incident, ending his night early.
