LaSalle Motorsports Continues Late Season Surge With Lee Ladouceur; Scores First Top Five Finish at Brockville Speedway on Saturday Night

With the 2013 regular season finale coming up at Brockville Speedway this weekend, the LaSalle Motorsports team, and driver Lee Ladouceur are looking to continue to build on their recent strong runs that consist of four top five finishes in the five events since Ladouceur joined the team last month, including their best performance to day last weekend with a solid fifth place run.

After a fourth place finish in his qualifying heat race, Lee Ladouceur drove the LaSalle Motorsports M96 back to the pit area for some adjustments in preparation for the 30 lap main event later in the night. Starting from seventh place, Ladouceur maintained a top ten position through the first half of the race. The first caution of the feature event came on lap 19, and Lee was running in the eighth position. After another quick yellow on lap 20, the race resumed and Lee was now up to sixth place, and was able to pick up one more spot over the final 10 circuits to score his first top five finish since joining the LaSalle Motorsports team.

“It was a good run tonight. We seem to get better each week”, says Ladouceur after the race. “I really have to thank Mike and Lori (LaSalle), and the entire LaSalle Motorsports team for the opportunity to drive their car”.

Lee Ladouceur will be back with the LaSalle Motorsports team during the finale this weekend at Brockville Speedway with a 50 lap, Ogilvie’s Triple Crown Series main event. The team will also compete at Applefest Weekend at Brighton Speedway on September 21st, and the Brockville Speedway Fall Nationals on October 18th to 20th. It is also possible that they will travel to Super DIRT Week in October and race the 358 Modified Series events at Cayuga County Fair Speedway and Rolling Wheels Raceway, although the team has not confirmed that at this time.

He maintained a top five position through most of the event before falling to sixth in the closing laps.
